Summer Storm

An F5 Tornado tore most of this little town up in the 1950's so summer storms where a bit different a bit more scary up in the woods. LOUD, HEAVY and sometimes completely beautiful...tornado sirens blared loud before this particular summer storm, I remember the eery calm in the air, but, it left us a double rainbow which was one of the best I have ever seen in my life. Yesterday, I took some awesome shots of a pro bike race that was taking place on my street...I'll need to wait to show you those. Have a great weekend!

there was an f5 tornado in the 50's here too... we are right across the pond from you, i wonder if it was the "same" one?

Hey Ms.A! We're gearing up at the shop for our busiest month of the year (August), so hubby has been having us all work whenever we can squeeze it in (even the 2 oldest boys, much against their will, but their peers' moms have already asked my hubby if their own boys can work at the shop ~ my boys don't know how easy they have it not needing to look for a job)! lol I STILL have to finish the shop website... I got drained on making any etsy stuff this summer... having a BLAST now that I can take somewhat better pics... got TONS of folders and pics to set up on the new computer and backup everything before I start downloading my new pics... trying to make some new fun summer meals so we don't have dogs and burgers every day... driving the kids to all their summer camps, etc.... so I gave my blog the boot for a while. lol But you KNOW I'll be checking in with you all the time! =) hugs!
